When you create a profile, we collect personal details (name, date of birth, contact information), family background, partner preferences, and two categories of sensitive documents: your CNIC (front and back images) and a personal photo. We also store messages you send us through the Contact form.
Your CNIC images are uploaded to secure cloud storage and are never returned by any public-facing part of our website or API — they are visible only to authorised bureau staff, for the purpose of verifying your identity and approving your profile. Your photo is handled the same way by default. At sign-up (and any time afterwards) you may choose to make your photo visible to other verified members once your profile is approved; if you don't, it remains staff-only, the same as your CNIC.
We use your information to verify your identity, list a privacy-safe public summary of your profile (first name or initial, age, city, and a short summary only), match you against stated partner preferences, and contact you about your profile or proposals of interest.
Full contact details, CNIC, and photos are never exposed through any public API or listing. They are shared only internally with bureau staff responsible for verification and matchmaking. We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
